Thursday

As a church community, we are committed to Sundays and Thursdays as our main days of the week for gathering. On Thursdays, we are invested in alternating seasons of formation and community on Thursday evenings, punctuated with seasons of holiday celebrations, events, and rest.

Our Men’s + Women’s Communities and The Gathering courses will alternate on Thursday evenings for intentional seasons of community and formation, always taking place alongside Youth and Kids Church—creating consistency for the whole church family.

Seasonal Rhythms

Formation

The Gathering is a seasonal time of intentional formation through a variety of courses on our campus that target specific areas of life for deep discipleship and personal enrichment, with a goal to be formed by the words, works, and ways of Jesus.

These courses meet in 4-8 week segments in the Winter and Summer seasons. Courses include topics that touch on finances, prayer, marriage, emotional health, biblical studies, and more.

Kids Church, Junior High, and High School ministries meet alongside these gatherings

Community

Our Men’s and Women’s community meets in 10-12 week sessions in the Fall and Spring. Women’s Community has a 10 AM and a 6:30 PM gathering time in the Fellowship Hall, and Men’s Community meets at 6:30 PM in the Main Sanctuary.

These communities meet for worship, Bible teaching, and small group discussions centered around a study guide.

Kids Church, Junior High, and High School ministries meet alongside these gatherings, and there is a young adults group available for men and women.

FAQs

Can I come when class sessions have already started?

Yes! We would love for you to join any time and will always have at least one open course. Please note that some courses will not be available to join once they are underway.

The course I am interested in is full. What can I do?

Unfortunately, we must limit the number of people in each course to best fit the shared content and the classroom size. You can check in with our team at the Kiosk for a waitlist option or register for one of our other courses.

Is there worship?

We have dedicated specific nights and gatherings to a time of worship as a church community, but we do not have a time of corporate worship before or after your class time at The Gathering. However, we encourage you to spend time in the Courtyard before and after class for snacks, coffee, and time together.

Can I bring a guest?

Absolutely! Please let your teacher know in advance if possible so they can prepare to welcome them. If they decide to register for the course, they can visit the Kiosk on Wednesday nights for help.

What happens during course breaks?

We have at least three, six-week sessions a year, with seasonal breaks for events, development of new courses, a time of refreshment for our teachers, and space for our church family to enjoy their evenings with family and friends. Should there be any planned events or sessions during a break, you will be able to find those details on our church calendar.

Is the cost to attend a course?

Our courses have no cost. There are some courses with a curriculum fee each session. These fees are noted upon registration, and workbooks will be available for purchase from our Kiosk.

Is there live stream or archives available?

As of now, there is no live stream or recordings of any of our classes. If you miss a week, join us again when you are able and talk with your teacher about any material you might want.

Do I need to be enrolled in a course to bring my kids?

Yes, our Kids Church team welcomes your 0 to 5th-grade children into their classrooms, so you are able to participate in a course of your own.

How can I switch courses?

If you’d like to move to another course, please let our team know at the Kiosk, and we’ll help make the arrangements for you.
