Leading and Serving Together

Out of a deep conviction and desire to follow Scripture, we want to share why we believe men and women are called to serve and lead together. We believe that from the beginning, God has created men and women in His image to partner with Him in building His Kingdom and taking His redemptive truth to the ends of the earth. God redeems men and women and calls them to take the message of the Gospel to all people in all places, and we need both men and women in this work to show what the true image of God is revealed in Jesus Christ.

We desire to follow the New Testament model as a community of men and women leading and serving together as an image of renewed humanity in Jesus Christ. In all we do, we partner with God through the empowering and gifting of his Holy Spirit to serve his Church and build his kingdom.

The Invitation to All

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.

If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
