Rick Johnson
Rick is on staff with Pacific Youth Correctional Ministries and serves as the supervising chaplain for the Orange County Probation Facilities. Each week, he provides church services, Bible studies, one-on-one discipleship/counseling, outreach activities, aftercare, and volunteer coordination. Over 2,500 contacts are made with troubled youth each year.
Prayer Request: Pray that Rick would maintain a healthy relationship with the Lord and grow in his love for him. The youth must sign up to participate in the ministry, and around 30% choose to do so. Pray for the percentage to increase. he is not recruiting volunteers but trusting the Lord to send the right individuals. Pray for the probation staff working directly with the youth to stay positive and for the youth in the living units to be stable.
