Rick Johnson

Pacific Youth Correctional Ministries - Orange County, CA

Rick is on staff with Pacific Youth Correctional Ministries and serves as the supervising chaplain for the Orange County Probation Facilities. Each week, he provides church services, Bible studies, one-on-one discipleship/counseling, outreach activities, aftercare, and volunteer coordination. Over 2,500 contacts are made with troubled youth each year.

    • For the youth to sign up and participate in the ministry, only30% do so.

    • For trusting the Lord to send the right individuals to volunteer.

    • For the probation staff working directly with the youth to stay positive and for the youth in the living units to be stable.
