Tsubasa and Rachel (Teague) Yamanaka
Mustard Seed Christian Church - Kobe, Japan
We are serving in Kobe alongside Mustard Seed Christian Church Kobe with a vision to see individuals, families, and the city transformed through the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Rachel works there part time doing administrative support, creating media, and leading worship. Tsubasa serves by making coffee and teaching/translating in the Children's ministry. We are also preparing to start a kodomo shokudo (children’s community meal ministry) as a way to serve local families in need, build a safe space for kids from broken homes, and create opportunities to share the love of Christ in Kobe.

Please pray for our family as we start the kids cafeteria ministry!
That the Lord would bring kids and families to the events and that the children's hearts would be open to hearing about Jesus. That it would become a safe space for many families.
Please pray for wisdom, patience, and discernment for how to navigate tricky situations.
And for unity for us a couple-- may this ministry bring God so much glory!
