About Prayer Ministries

At Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, we offer a variety of prayer meetings throughout the week. These are times to get together before the Lord and fellowship in prayer. We set aside a week annually to seek the Lord in prayer together as the body of Christ, and we have resources for you to enrich your prayer life throughout the year. 

We desire to be in prayer with one another and for each other. If you are looking for prayer, we encourage you to come and pray with a member of our prayer team at our 8:30 + 11 AM gatherings. During the week, our ministers are available for our congregation by appointment or for prayer by calling our offices at 714-979-4422. 

Prayer Meetings

  • 7:45 AM Sunday Pre-Gathering Prayer: Courtyard
    A time for our congregation, ministers, and volunteer teams to pray together for the day ahead.

    4:30 PM Missions Prayer: Family Room
    An hour of prayer for our missionaries where we pray through the weekly prayer requests received from our missionaries.

  • 9:30 AM Women's Intercessory Prayer Team Meeting: Prayer Room

    12 PM Intercessory Prayer (walk-ins for prayer): Prayer Room
    The Women’s Intercessory Prayer Group is a gathering of women who feel called to pray for the needs of the church.

  • 12 PM Prayer for Ukraine
    This is a specific time set aside to stand in the gap for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. We will share updated prayer points for the country, for our missionaries, and for the local church each week. For more information, contact Shaun Havelarr at shavelaar@cccm.com.

  • 10:30 AM Grace Upon Grace Prayer: Bride’s Room

  • 8:15 AM Moms and Grandmas in Prayer: Bride’s Room
    Moms in Prayer is a ministry of moms, aunts, and grandmas who stand in the gap for children and schools, praying scripturally and specifically (Following Joyful Life’s Schedule).
