Matej and Amy Bordon
The Lord directed Matej and Amy to move to the City of Maribor, the second largest city of Slovenia, former Yugoslavia, with about 114,487 inhabitants in 2013. They are working with the local evangelical church where Matej is the church board member, Sunday School director, and Bible teacher. Their vision is to work with the college-age population of the city, to disciple them, and to teach them God’s Word.
Prayer Request: Pray for them to have God’s heart for the lost, for compassion and the work of his Spirit within them as they faithfully serve; for the city and the people of Maribor that are bound to the darkness; for divine appointments and for an open door with college students and discipleship opportunities among the students. Also pray for God’s protection and spiritual growth for their family, as well as for their church family.
