Vancouver is a major metropolitan city on Canada’s western coast, with a very diverse population. Awake Vancouver is a church the Browns planted in the heart of the city to reach the local and global community with the gospel. The church ministers to local families and singles, new immigrants, international students, foreign workers, and more. Ministry in Vancouver is difficult and the ground is hard, but God is preparing a great harvest in this city that will have ripple effects around the world.
Prayer Request: Please pray that they would be a church committed to their church vision; be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did. Please pray for their elders and leaders in the church. Pray for a great outpouring of the Spirit in their community and city, and pray for a more stable and permanent meeting place for their church.
