11/02/2025 Judah’s Good Kings (2 Kings 18-19; 2 Chronicles 14-24)

As you disciple your children, this week’s lesson offers a rich opportunity to talk about the influence of leadership and the faithfulness of God. Some kings of Judah led the people toward God, while others led them into idolatry. Still, God remained faithful to His promises. Help your children see that even when people fail, God never does. Remind them that Jesus, the perfect King, came from the line of Judah and leads us to worship in spirit and truth. Your everyday conversations and prayers are helping your children understand that true leadership begins with a heart that honors God. Keep pointing them to Jesus, the King who never changes and is always worthy of our trust.
