This week’s story reminds us of the consequences of ignoring God’s voice, but even more, it highlights the hope we have in Jesus. As you talk with your children, help them understand that while sin leads to brokenness, God’s grace offers a new path. Ahab chose to follow his own way and refused to turn back, but we have the opportunity to teach our kids that repentance brings forgiveness and change. Because Jesus laid down His life for us, we can be made right with God. Keep pointing your children to the gift of the gospel and the beauty of a heart transformed by His love.
