The Women’s Annual Christmas Coffee is a gathering place for women of all generations to come together for a morning of coffee, festive treats, worship, and reflection on the reason we celebrate Christmas. Together, we will set aside time to enter into the anticipation of the Advent season and prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ.
This year, we will explore how we can Make Room, carrying on the same theme guiding our Sunday morning teachings throughout the Advent season. We will explore this at our Christmas Coffee through intentional moments of prayer and reflection as we consider what it means to make room for the presence of God in our own lives.
Just as Mary made room to carry the presence of God into the world, we will reflect on how we, too, can cultivate a life that welcomes His presence through prayer, attentiveness, and surrender.
The morning will feature coffee, delicious treats, and a Makers Marketplace.
The event begins at 9:30 AM (doors open at 10), and the program begins at 10:30. Before and after the program, stroll through our Marketplace, featuring local artisans and creators whose handcrafted goods, trinkets, and treasures reflect their care and creativity. The Marketplace will be open on both Saturday and Sunday, giving you plenty of time to explore.
Advance tickets are available at the Kiosk during our Sunday gatherings and in the Church Office for $15 ($16 online), with tickets for $20 at the door, if available. Your ticket includes entry to the morning program, a special gift from us to you, and a delicious morning treat with your choice of coffee, tea, or hot cocoa.

Message from Beth Balmer
Beth Palmer is the lead pastor of organization and leadership at Grace Long Beach. She also leads the incredible Psalm retreats that our leadership team has been able to take part in this year.
Beth was born and raised in Northern Ireland and came to the US to pursue a worship internship after finishing a music degree in the UK. She began attending the church she is now leading in back in 2000 and went from playing the piano for one choir rehearsal to becoming the Director of Worship, which subsequently led to the privilege of serving as one of their Lead Pastors.
She now oversees worship & prayer, as well as the organizational side of the church, and passionately believes in the family that is created by the local gathering of Jesus followers.
Beyond her role in church, she is wife to Eric, mother to three kiddos, friend to many, and her extroverted self can be found most evenings socializing with anyone who'll receive her.

the Calvary Worship Team
Faith is a worship leader, artist, and Third Culture Kid who loves Jesus, people, and a good lactose-free cappuccino. By God’s manifold grace, Faith has served in leadership in worship, creative, and youth ministries across different denominational spaces since 2004 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Theology.
She currently serves as a worship leader in Temecula, California, and with church plants here and abroad. Faith also works as a graphic designer with Wake Creative Studio, makes music with friends as REVO Collective, and loves championing and co-writing with independent artists through The Table Art Society.
She and her husband, Thales, love building a beautiful life with their son, Thomas, baby on the way, and border collie Ahsoka, wherever God leads.
Faith will be joined by our Calvary Worship Team—an incredible community of talented musicians—and they can’t wait to sing Christmas carols with you this year! What better way to begin the Christmas season than by lifting our voices and entering the throne room together!
