You’re Invited!

Saturday, December 7, at 9:30 AM

“But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.” – Luke 2:19, NIV

This Christmas, we invite you to set aside the first Saturday in December to come and celebrate the greatest treasure in our lives—Jesus! Our theme is Treasures of JOY, and just like Mary, we want to stop and ponder who Jesus is and treasure Him in our hearts. We will hear from special guest speaker Beth Redman as she shares the treasures of joy she has found in Jesus!

Take a moment to enjoy the beauty of the Christmas season with a steaming cup of coffee, a pastry, and rich fellowship. Meet new ladies and catch up with old friends at this year’s Christmas Coffee at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa.

Our Christmas Boutique will be open before and after the morning program to give you time to wander through the pop-up shops from local artisans and talented individuals whose passion and creativity can be seen in all their goods, trinkets, baubles, and beyond. The full boutique will be open on Saturday only this year. On Sunday, we will have a small pop-up of vendors set up in the Courtyard to give you an extra opportunity to shop!

Tickets are available online or in the Church Office for $15 each—tickets will be $20 at the door (if available). Your ticket will include entrance to the morning program, a gift from us to you, and a delicious morning treat with your choice of coffee, hot cocoa, or tea.

LET’S GIVE BACK!
Voice of Refugees

Each year at the Christmas Coffee, we add a special element of giving back to a ministry close to our hearts. This year we are partnering with our friends at Voice of Refugees who serve both relief and development needs for local refugees. VOR is hosting a Christmas event for local families, and we encourage you to bring a gift to the Christmas Coffee for the young adults and older youth of this community. The men and women in this age group are often the main bread winners, spokespersons, or decision-makers for their families because of their age and language skills.

Let’s bless them with things like gift cards (Target, H&M, TJ Maxx), headphones/earbuds, soap/lotion/spray for women and men, reusable water bottles/tumblers, makeup, sunglasses, or bike helmets. Please bring new or very gently used items.

Speaker–Beth Redman

Beth Redman is a songwriter, author, and Bible teacher. She is passionate about discipleship and encouraging others to grow in their Christian faith. Beth is a co-host on TBN’s Better Together program, and co-host of the LO Mama podcast with Korie Robertson. She is married to singer/songwriter, Matt Redman (10,000 Reasons), and together, they have five amazing children.

Worship–Molly Toms

Molly Toms, a dearly beloved friend of Calvary, is coming all the way from London to lead us into a time of worship. Molly had a profound encounter with God at a seminar during one of our annual Creation Fest outreach weekends in England. This encounter changed her life forever and led to her deep commitment to ministry and flourishing love for the Lord. She is currently serving with Alpha Youth, helping to communicate the impact an honest conversation around faith can have on every young person’s life. While her ministry reaches around the world, she has a heart devoted to how theology, worship, and music can deepen our personal faith. Molly is thrilled to be joining us once again in California. We can’t wait for you to enter the throne room of God with her and our worship team!
