About Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery started in 1991 at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California. We are part of a movement that is bringing the healing power of Jesus Christ to the hurting and broken by working through Celebrate Recovery’s Step Studies, The Journey Begins, and The Journey Continues. To date, over five million individuals have completed a Step Study.
Celebrate Recovery is a ministry to assist those who want to gain victory over alcohol, drugs, pornography, gambling, and food. In Christ, the true Higher Power, is where healing and recovery begins!
What to Expect
Before service, all are welcome to gather in the Courtyard for snacks, refreshments, and fellowship. Service begins with praise and worship. We then celebrate milestones with Recovery Chips. The Eight Principles and their corresponding Beatitudes, or the 12 Steps and their biblical comparisons, are read. This is followed by teaching or testimony. We end with a closing prayer and a closing song before dismissing to small groups.
What Celebrate Recovery Offers
Celebrate Recovery is a 12-step program and can sign court cards.
The battles we face do not have to be battled alone. We are here to grow in the Lord together as He brings us through the recovery and healing process. A celebration of milestones by the giving of Celebrate Recovery Chips and recognition as we obtain victory in our journey! Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. Romans 12:15
