2025 Annual Report of God’s
Faithfulness in Our Church

Hello, Church! We are truly thankful for you and your partnership in the work that God is doing at Calvary Chapel—the good work of the kingdom before us in this coming year. We’re really excited to share this annual report (24–25) with you as we look back in reflection and celebration of all that God has done, looking forward to what God will do as we build for his kingdom, on earth as it is in heaven.

We’re also introducing a new rhythm for our annual report that will debut in September, at the end of the fiscal year rather than at the end of the calendar year. We believe this new rhythm will fall better in line with the ebb and flow of our community.

As I personally reflect on this last year and all the changes we’ve been through, I have seen us take some huge steps in our discipleship to Jesus—moving further up and further in—making discipleship our main identity and task as the people of God. I’ve also seen us remove walls (physically and metaphorically) that kept us from really knowing one another, caring for one another, and bearing each other’s burdens in real and practical ways. We are becoming a true community—a family that knows, supports, and loves each other. Finally, I’ve seen us interact with the world around us—both near and far—through our offerings and good works. Through local outreach, we have been able to make much of Jesus, putting his compassion, justice, love, and mercy on display.

So what’s next?
We’re looking back to go forward.

The Big Picture

When we think back to the early years of Calvary Chapel, all that God did was cultivated in this local church and community, and by God’s grace, has had a rippling effect to the ends of the earth. I believe that God wants to do something similar by bringing our focus back to this local church and community to discover what he is doing, partnering with him to build for his kingdom here, and see how it might spread again to the ends of the earth.

How will we do this?

Again, we’re looking back to go forward. God has done so much in and through this community, and we have identified the lasting values of Calvary Chapel as a way to move ahead into discovering what God has next. We believe he is making us into:
A Jesus Community
–A people who center their lives in and around the person of Jesus, Messiah.

A Spirit-Empowered Community–A people who are completely dependent on the Spirit of God for the whole of our lives.

A Biblically-Rooted Community–A people who live in and live out the story of God’s great love and redemption for the world.

A Kingdom-Minded Community–A people who live under the reign of King Jesus now, and make his name, will, and kingdom known on earth as it is in heaven.

I’m looking forward to discovering together all the good things God has for us as we faithfully follow in the way of Jesus.
