We may think God's attitude towards sinners is primarily anger, wrath, and judgement. Not so. As we look at Jesus, we see God's predominant attitude is love, mercy, and compassion. In his message titled, "The Compassionate Shepherd" taken from Mark 6:1-13, 30-34, Pastor Brian Brodersen continues by sharing that the compassion of Jesus is a sympathetic consciousness; a physical response to people in distress together with a desire and ability to alleviate it, even when they are responsible for messing up their own lives.
