The men’s fellowship is led by Pastor George Scanlan and several small group leaders. The purpose of the men’s fellowship is to connect men with the Lord and one another. We seek to sharpen each other and deepen our relationship with God. As a community, we study together, pray together, eat together, and meet in small groups on Tuesday evenings. The men’s fellowship also plans annual short-term missions trips and retreats as well as regular BBQs. We welcome all men who are high-school aged and older.
One of the aims of our community is to do life together and draw closer to Christ. We come together at 6 PM on Tuesdays for a time of food and fellowship. At 6:30 PM we enter into a time of prayer. Our study begins at 7 PM. We study Scripture under the teaching of our pastor and engage with one another in a small group setting. The men's study will be resuming on Tuesday, January 31 at 7 PM in the Main Sanctuary.
God gives men a very clear calling to be leaders in their homes and their churches. But all-too-often we feel ill-equipped or inadequate for the job, or we have a completely wrong and worldly view of this Godly responsibility. Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa would like to invite the men of the church to join us for a weekend of Biblical, spiritual and practical instruction on how to stand up and become the servant-leaders we are called to be.
This year's Men’s Retreat will be held from March 31st to April 2nd in the San Bernardino mountains at the Twin Peaks Christian Conference Center.
Speakers include Nick Long, Rod Thompson, Kellen Criswell and George Scanlan.
Men ages 16 and up are welcome.
You do not have to attend Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa to attend the retreat.
Cost is $155*. Includes the conference, meals and lodging.
Price will increase to $165 after March 15, so register today.
