Pennsylvania Tour

The Vintage Life Fellowship is hosting a trip to Pennsylvania! We’ll visit many of the historic sites of Philadelphia including Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, the Franklin Museum, and Valley Forge. We’ll move on to visit the heartland of the Amish Country in Lancaster County and enjoy the Sight & Sound Theatres production of David.

*** Please note, this tour involves a considerable amount of walking, including stairs. ***

Our Itinerary:

Tuesday, October 11: We will meet at John Wayne/Santa Ana International airport for our group airline check-in to Philadelphia, stopping in Phoenix for a connection. Upon arrival in Philadelphia, we will board our motorcoach to our hotel, stopping for dinner along the way.

Wednesday, October 12: After our breakfast buffet and devotions, we will be transported to Independence Hall for a group tour followed by a do-it-yourself visit to all the surrounding sites and grab lunch on our own. That afternoon, we’ll visit Penn’s Landing and Delaware River Waterfront, staying for dinner before returning to our hotel.

Thursday, October 13: After breakfast and devotions, we’ll check out and drive over to Valley Forge where we’ll be met by a tour guide who will board our bus for a descriptive tour of the famous Revolutionary War battleground.  Following a lunch stop, we’ll be heading on over to Lancaster County, one of the notable areas known as Amish Country, checking in to our hotel, and going to dinner.

Friday, October 14: Following breakfast and devotions, we’ll be visiting an Amish farm for a glimpse of the simple life. In the afternoon, we will be attending the Sight & Sound Theatres production of David, then to dinner, and back to our hotel afterward.

Saturday, October 15:  After breakfast and devotions, we’ll be driving back through downtown Philadelphia to visit and lunch at the famous Reading Terminal Market before heading back to Philadelphia International Airport for our return flights to Orange County, stopping in Dallas for our final connection, and arrive back in Orange County.

Costs:

Air and Ground Couple w/one King Size Bed: $1,599 includes round trip airfare, four nights at hotels (double occupancy), breakfast buffet each morning, daily motor coach transportation, the David production at Sight & Sound Theatres in Lancaster, and other selected admissions and gratuities to listed venues.

Air and Ground Double occupancy w/two Queen Beds: $1,615 (with a roommate)

Air and Ground Single: $1,740 (no roommate)

Ground Only Couple w/one King Size Bed: $1,130

Ground Only Double occupancy: $1,145 (airfare not included)

Ground Only Single: $1,270 (no roommate, airfare not included)

Deposit of $300 is due within seven days following registration approval and is non-refundable after July 7. The balance is due no later than Monday, August 9. Checks should be made payable to Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and submitted to the Vintage Life Fellowship in the Fellowship Hall on Monday evenings at 6:30 PM or the Vintage Life mailbox in the church office. If using a credit card, a 3% convenience fee will be added.
