This ministry for women provides a place to meet other widows as they go through the grieving process. We recognize that becoming a widow is not easy and our focus is to provide comfort and encouragement for the widows in our community. We are told in 1 Corinthians to comfort others with the comfort we have been given. Our desire is to help widows realize how much God loves them and still has a beautiful plan for their lives.

About Our Programs:

Widows helping Widows meets once a month for worship, prayer, and encouragement. In addition we schedule several events to bless the widows during the most difficult times and seasons. We begin each year in January with a weekend retreat at the beautiful Calvary Chapel Murrieta Conference Center. In February we have a Valentine’s Day Tea; in May we have a spa day; in November a Thanksgiving Potluck; and in December we host a lovely Christmas dinner.

Jan 19, 2018

The ministry of Widows Helping Widows offers a unique weekend retreat specifically designed to minister to the special needs of widows. The Murrieta Hot Springs facility is peaceful and beautiful. It is so refreshing to sit and have quiet time with the Lord, meet other ladies that have walked this journey and be built up in God's word. Our hope and prayer is that you will be encouraged to take the time to come and be refreshed, renewed and restored through this special retreat.
